Barmah Bush Hats developed the original Hat-in-a-Bag, a  leather hat designed to be folded away and stored in a supplied bag, for example when travelling, which then spring back into shape when you want to wear them. These versatile and durable hats are the ideal choice for any activity – travel, fishing, bush craft or even dog-walking.

All Barmah Bush Hats are water resistant, enhanced with Barmah’s own DriHide® process and UV resistant to SP Factor 50+. All hats are made with a soft sweatband, making them exceptionally comfortable to wear.The hats come up on the small side and we encourage people to wear a hat as loose. To get a good fit, please measure the circumference of your head, one inch above your eyebrows, in a comfortable fit, which means not too loose and not too tight, as you would like the hat to feel on your head and then select a size. Pretty much always go for the size up if you fall in between sizes, so for example a 58cm head measurement, I would suggest a Large 59cm hat.

Made in Australia, marks and scratches on our leather hats are considered a natural feature as they are made with naturally scarred leather from free-roaming cattle or wild kangaroos.

Delivery Information

All deliveries will be by Royal Mail or by our courier, usually UPS. If your product is in stock delivery is within 48 hours. Should there be any delay you will be notified.

We will endeavor to dispatch goods immediately on confirmation that the order is accepted, if any product is out of stock we will contact you by telephone or email as soon as is practicable to let you know.

Returns & Refunds

If you return a product you have purchase from us that you have taken reasonable care of, and no labels removed, within seven working days from the day after delivery we will issue you with a full refund. The refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation. We are not able to refund postage and packing charges unless there is a fault with the goods. Please Include a copy of your invoice or delivery note with the returned goods.
